Ezechias MUHIZI
Ezechias has been our partner in ministry for 5 years. He was blessed to be born into a Christian home, where he learned about Jesus. Ezechias was baptized in 1974 and married in 1979. They have 6 children and 2 grandchildren.
Ezechias is an incredible man of God that has a heart to see his country rooted in the love of Christ and transformed by the Gospel. He is the pastor of PEFA Church in Kinyinya and he loves to study God's Word and to sing.
George NDARUHUYE
George is Ezechias's son and was; therefore, raised up to know about the Bible and the things of God. He started following Jesus between 1998-1999. Since then, his life has changed and he has peace with God.
George lives in Butare with his wife, Brigitte, and baby boy, Jonathan. He works with student ministry and youth, where he enjoys spending time with them and discipling them.
George's favorite foods are vegetables and Irish potatoes, and his hobbies include exploring new places and watching documentary movies.
Burundi Staff
Aimable IZERE
Aimable has been a friend and ministry partner since 2012. He graduated from Glad Tidings Bible College. He is the founder and senior pastor of New Beginnings Church Bujumbura and works as a church planter as well.
Aimable and his wife, Claudine, have 2 boys, Wayne and Jedidiah. He loves soccer and is a fan of Manchester United and Real Madrid, and his favorite foods are rice and fish.
Eric RUTABARA
Eric was born in the DRC in 1981 to a Christian family of 12 children. His parents taught him about Jesus and prayer as a child and he gave his life to Christ in 2000. He was married on December 22nd, 2012 and has 2 boys and 1 girl.
Eric received a bachelor's degree in Theology Sciences and has led an evangelism ministry, Carmel Ministry, since 2009. In 2013, he joined Barry Wood Ministries and, in April 2017, he became the pastor of the church Guerison des Ames in Bujumbura.
Eric's passions include counseling people, especially pre-marital and marital counseling, and spending time with family and friends. His favorite foods are fruits and vegetables.
